Position Overview
The VP of Engineering is responsible for defining and implementing the technology innovation agenda and leading the engineering and product development efforts. This role covers advanced technology development, product design, and value engineering to drive business growth, enhance competitive advantage, and improve operational performance. The VP will ensure that new products and technologies meet market demands and strategic objectives.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities 
:: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
:: Manage product development projects, ensuring timely introduction, production, and market success.
:: Oversee R&D strategy, introducing new products, technologies, and improving existing processes for better cost-efficiency and product quality.
:: Establish key partnerships with academic institutions, suppliers, and global teams to enhance advanced technology capabilities.
:: Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure product design is optimized for manufacturability and market delivery.
:: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring continuous development, technical expertise, and succession planning.
:: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, technical standards, and safety protocols across engineering and development processes.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
:: Over 15 years of experience in advanced technology, engineering, and product management within global companies.
:: Proven leadership in talent development, change management, and project portfolio management.
:: Master’s or PhD in Engineering (Mechanical, Fluid Mechanics, or Process Engineering preferred).
:: Strong experience in HVAC and refrigeration technology.
:: Experience working with regulatory bodies such as DOE, EPA SNAP, and other HVACR industry authorities.

Skills and Abilities:
:: Ability to drive and manage innovation initiatives aligned with business goals.
:: Expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects, prioritizing objectives to meet business needs.
:: Strong financial planning and resource optimization skills to ensure product and process efficiency.
