Fox Human Capital is assisting a biotechnology company in the search for a Accounting Manager. This position will be 100% in-office in Clearwater, FL.
Main responsibilities/challenges:
:: Produce accurate and timely financial records prepared in accordance with US GAAP
:: Month End including Accruals, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, and Variance Analysis
:: Standard Costs and Actual Cost Allocations
:: Sales Commissions and other Incentives
:: Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Budgets and Forecasts
:: Support and successfully pass all internal and external audit requirements
:: Collaborate closely with Finance, Shared services AR, AP, and Payroll to support company growth.
:: Ensure AP, AR, and Payroll services are performed timely and accurately
:: Provide support to the corporate tax department to meet quarterly and annual requirements
:: Provide all necessary reporting to the CFO and the Executive Leadership Team weekly, monthly, and on an ad-hoc basis
:: Have a process improvement mindset and work proactively to ensure that the company continues to scale efficiently
:: Serve as an accounting partner to the rest of the organization to enable responsible growth
Essential Requirements:
:: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required;
:: MBA is a plus Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus
:: 5+ years of relevant experience
:: Ability to mine data from ERP systems, MAPICS/XA experience is a plus
:: Expertise in consolidation and reporting software, OneStream experience is a plus
:: Strong problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of general accounting principles and processes.
:: Experience in manufacturing environments with exposure to operational and cost accounting.
:: Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team with all levels of Leadership, including Company Leaders, business leaders, and across the various corporate functions and Division teams to provide relevant, insightful information.
:: Strong communicator (verbal/written) that presents complex material in a concise, compelling, and positive way
:: Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic
